K Words
Inital and Final /k/ Words
T
he /k/ is a sound made in the back of our mouth. Some people call it the "coughing" sound. Open your mouth and keep your tongue down when you say this sound. Sometimes it is easier for the child to say words with the final /k/ sound than words that begin with the /k/ sound.
